Lynn Olds, LNHA
Administrator
Lynn started working at Greenfield in 2021 after being the Administrator at a long-term care campus that included skilled nursing, intermediate care, dementia care, Supportive Living, and independent living. Lynn is certified in Long-Term Care Administration and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
I am fortunate to work at Greenfield because it is more than just a retirement community—it’s a home filled with heart. The personal connection here sets us apart, creating a warmth you won’t find elsewhere. With a board of trustees who live in this community, every decision reflects a deep commitment to making Greenfield the best it can be for those who live and work here.
Baylea Weston, RN
Director of Nursing
I began my nursing career in 2021 after graduating from Illinois Valley Community College (IVCC), eager to make a meaningful impact in healthcare. My early experiences led me to work in various doctor’s offices, where I honed my skills in patient care, communication, and administrative tasks. Seeking new challenges, I transitioned to a skilled nursing facility, which further deepened my knowledge in long-term care and patient management. In February 2024, I joined the dedicated team at Greenfield, where I have been able to combine my passion for patient care with my experience in healthcare settings. Working at Greenfield has allowed me to engage with residents in a more personalized manner, making a tangible difference in their lives while contributing to a compassionate and collaborative environment.
Working at Greenfield brings me a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment. The opportunity to connect with and care for residents, while enriching their daily lives, is incredibly rewarding. Every day, I’m inspired by their stories, wisdom, and resilience, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that provides compassionate care and creates a nurturing environment for those who have shaped our community.
Carol Zehr
Office Manager
Carol started working as the Office Manager at Greenfield in 2019 after working in the Princeton school district as a paraprofessional during her children's growing up years, and then part-time at 2 different churches in Princeton as their office managers.
I enjoy the variety I have in each day of work - no two days are alike. The staff is awesome and great to work with and I appreciate the caring and friendliness of each person - staff as well as residents.
I find the residents so fun to talk with. I enjoy hearing about their past and getting to know them as well as their families. Greenfield is an awesome place to work.
Christine Thompson, BA, AD
Activity Director
Chris came to Greenfield in 2005 after directing the activities at another long-term care facility. With experience in the public and school library settings, she is nearing completion of a Master's Degree in Writing. She is our Certified Laughter Leader.
What I like about working at Greenfield is that each day is full of new adventures, laughter, and sharing time with friends.
Beth Culjan
Food Services Director
Beth started working at Greenfield in the housekeeping department in 1985. She transitioned to the dietary staff in 1992, completing a 1-year degree certificate as a Dietetic Assistant. Along with all of our kitchen staff, she maintains a Food Service Sanitation License.
There are a lot of positive things working at Greenfield. I would say that the way our dietary staff works together as a team is one thing I like. We are not only co-workers, but best friends. We help each other out and make sure we always have a positive attitude toward our job and our residents.
We are here for our residents and we try and please them. It is always a joy to feel that we did our job and that they appreciate it.
Rob Hammock
Maintenance Supervisor
After trade school, Rob began his career as a machinist and later became a CNC programmer as the industry evolved. Wanting a change, he went back to school, earned an associate degree in computer science, and became a certified IT specialist. During the 2008 downturn, he worked at a nearby airport. It was a really fun job, and he learned a lot about aircrafts. After moving to Princeton, he worked in hospital maintenance, where he found his true calling—fixing things. After six years, he joined Greenfield to step away from the corporate world and put his skills to work in a more meaningful setting.
What I like about working at Greenfield is that every day is different, and I get to use all the different skills that I have practiced over the years! Each day is an adventure!
